Dear Katie,
Following an exhaustive review by a committee of one, I'm pleased to report that the Canada First policy is officially in effect. Legally binding in absolutely no jurisdiction.
I've been getting From a Distant Star ready — a small artist-led publishing project of greeting cards made with my photography, experiments with generative imagery, questionable humor, and occasional tenderness.
I love the idea of these little objects leaving the screen, traveling through the mail, and finding their way into somebody else's life.
I wanted you to have the first look at what's taking shape. I'd love to hear which ones catch your eye and whether a small selection might feel at home at Micak. Maybe there's a fun way to introduce them in Canada together.
Whatever comes of it, I thought you'd enjoy this peculiar little world I've been building.
